IMPORTANT!
I just found out the 3*30 VOA and 3*30 TR scheme does not work.
You can stay 90 days within 6 months which is longer than 180 days. You will have days short...
Perhaps the best way is to get another extension for 7 days...

Might be the wrong place to ask but.....
I retired and would like to spend the winter in Thailand 4 mos approx 120 days.
Is there a way to do that with the new rules??

Yes, just apply for a double entry TR in your country. Then you get 2 x 60 days + 2 x 30 days extension = 180 days.
Or enter on a Visa on Arrival, do another two border runs and get a TR in one of the countries surrounding Thailand.

I am already in Bangkok almst half way through a 60 day tourist visa which I can extend by 30. If I want nother 90 days do I have to go back home and get the tourist visa again? thanks.
