Anyone know where I can find a store/shop that sells power converters??
Have a heater that operates on 120v 60hz that draws 1500watts.

Go to Amporn shop. There are a few scattered around BKK, and one in Pattaya. In Bangkok, I know there is one in the Fortune Town Mall, and in Pattaya, it is in the basement of Tukcom IT shopping mall.
Another option rather than using a converter is to replace the power supply with a 220v one. You could ask about this in Amporn.
