In Thailand, what are the differences between Apartment, Mansion, and Condo? I am looking for a place to stay for my three month visit to Thailand. I was browsing this site http://en.9apartment.com and they have mansion, apartment, and condo. What are differences?

I live at a "mansion" in lower Suk. It could be called a condo [has 25 floors] or it could be called an apartment. Really no difference IMO You should be more concerned with sq meters, location, and availability of internet connections and cable tv for good sports and movie coverage.

Bit of blurred lines here but roughly, A Condo has facilities (usually a pool) An Apartment or Flat has no facilities A Mansion or Maisonette is usually the same as an apartment but on 2 or more levels. This does vary.

Yes, I'm looking for an apartment with Internet access and close to BTS/MRT. But most of them I see want 6 month contract to get the deposit back. That's a problem. I will be there for three months only.
