If I hold a 60-day Tourist visa...
- in general, how easy is it to extend this type of visa?
- where does one go in Bangkok to apply for an extension?
- how much does it cost to extend the visa (800, 1,000, 1,900 THB) ?
- what documentation is required? (form? more pictures?)
Extensions appear possible for between 30 days and 1 year. Can anyone share any experiences for obtaining extensions? Do you 'negotiate' the duration of the extension?

All you have to do is go pay 1900 baht and you will get an additional 30 days, (assumming that you have a tourist visa). At the end of that 30 days you can go apply for an additional 15 days for 1900 baht. Then you can go back and get an additional 15 days for free.
This all worked before the price increase last year when the fee was only 500 baht. With the new price increase I think it's cheaper to just leave and get the 90 days at the end of your first 90 days.

funny how this country can even fcuk with you when your not even in it. Got a non imm O visa today, 400% increase from last time I got one, fcuk me, I am afraid I did the angry american impersonation and ranted on about what a joke it was, $225 for a 12 month visa and I still have to leave the country every 3 months, they were as usual full of smiles and bad luck fcuk of looks.

Note quite. The Embassy has diplomatic immunity from the laws of the host country, but they can be expelled at any time. Such expulsions are not considered to be an invasion of a foreign country.
