is the langsuan at a walking distance of sukh area and patpong ? on a map I have in a tourist book it seems to be only at 2-3 blocks of both, but there is no scale reference and maybe some small streets do not appear on it

thank you

edit : hmmm maybe u will ask how far I consider a walking distance : let's say around 15 min max

CentrePoint Langsuan much more than 15 min walk to Suk area,, more like 30. Your best bet would be CentrePoint on Suk 10, just a 5-10 min walk or seconds using the residence's tuktuk. Nice place to stay at, one of the more recent CentrePoints.

Hi Chaps,

Any recent experience at Centrepoint Sukhumvit? The going rate seems to be B3000. Is it walkable to both NEP and Cowboy (within 20 min walking) ? Is the pool and Gym any good? As I am a complete newbie to BKK, are there some good eateries closeby?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

All I can say is that the Centre point Petchaburi is the best on several levels, for me... best price/performance ration, great location, good building, great facilities.

It's kinda like a secret tip.

Dear DD,

I am also considering Centrepoint for my next trip to LOS (five weeks August-Sept). In the past I've stayed at the Sheraton and of course it's so convenient because you can walk home from the action at any time of day or night without worrying about taxis, traffic etc. Why is the Centrepoint Petchaburi best, what's the distance from Suk/Nana/Cowboy, and how's the transportation late night in a rain storm?

Thanks,
Luke : )

AsaiaRooms is quite incorrect - I stay at CentrePoint Petchburi a lot, and never had any issues with guests - and I bring along quite a few. I haven't heard any sort of complaints from others there either.

I live at Center Point Wireless Road for las 18 months. Location is perfect, right on Sukhumvit. right there at BTS stop. 15 minute walk to Nana. But closet anywhere via BTS. And it is the nicest of all the centerpoint locations

Hi!

Have a girl pushing me to stay there whilein BKK, at least 'coz se works at walking distance from there. I like Lang Suan, as it's in a decent location, not too far from party places nor form work. But can U tell more about the place??

Is it still very guest friendly??

Plus as I don't quite visualise the tower... Can we get rooms with Lumpini view??

Someone else can rate it agaisnt Emporium suite??

thanks,
AP
