My handy dandy 150 Baht calculator says if rent is 3,000 baht per week, then 20,000 baht would be six WEEKS rent (plus a little bit) and not six MONTHS rent.
Perhaps you oughta leave that strong coffee alone.

its a good price in that area I live just 2 min from there. Its about 40 THB taxi to Silom. Close to many cheap hotels and farang places. And for all LB lovers the Malaysia is very close. Subway is 20 THB away 2 min with Motor Taxi. Are you leaving Thailand?

You are absolutely 100% (check that) correct, I am wrong I miss wrote my calculations I actually ment a monthly rental price of 3000 Baht.
3000 x 6 = 18,000
with 2000 change for a shortie at cupidity thrown in.

Hi Gents,
I don't know if any of you guys might be in the market for this.
I'm looking for a good tenant to lease an apartment that I have a share of, as follows:
Corner apartment 19th floor, safe secure building with pool, fitness room, sauna.
Quiet Soi close to Nana/Asoke BTS/MRT subway, expressway, nearby parks.
3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, Living Room, full Kitchen, 2 Balcony (1 big).
Furnished, 4 x airc-cond, Cable TV/Stereo DVD, Carpark.
I've stayed there a few times, and it's been convenient to everything I wanted, ie: transport, the Suk, supermarket, nightlife (but no bars in soi) and even cycling in the parks etc.
I think it's a really great apartment, and would even suit a family.
Asking baht 50k per month, which I think is about market for the place.

OK boys I've still got an empty apartment,
I think it's the decor getting a bit tired, because the apartments a cracker.
So, I'm coming up in June, and I have set myself the task of budget makeover for the place.
Think I'll put a new lounge suite, coffee tables, outdoor furniture, maybe a new TV/DVD, and soft furnishings in the place, to brighten it up.
Since I'm an absolute novice for buying furniture in BKK, does anyone have tips, links, so I can come prepared, and don't get ripped off too badly.
Alternatively, is anyone leaving BKK with some respectable furnishings for sale.
Great if you can help me out,
