Bro Wagie, I very much like Centre Points Silom too. Bad news is we can't book room there after Sept. Website mentioned renovation work starting Sept.
At this stage I can't find another Centre Points property as good as Silom. Centre Point Sukhumvit soi 10 appears very deep in the soi.
How is Centre Points Thonglo in terms of location and staff serivce ? You mentioned room too cramped. which type of room you stay ?

Not ture. I stay there every month. Renovation is floor by floor. I book direct with Centre Point and get great rates and benfits by doing so. They reduced my rate though the whole renovation. New upgraded rooms are great!

I abosolutely love the 1-bedroom guest suite in Centre Point Silom. IMHO, the suite there is better than some suites in 5* hotels in Sukhumvit. However, it's gone after Sept.
I am presently considering Centre Point Sukhumvit Soi 10 and Centre Point Thonglo ( Suk soi 55 ). Joe999, I reckon you like Centre Point Sukhumvit Soi 10 very much, can you tell us the pro and con of the place ?
I've stayed in hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 8 ( Stable Lodge ) and Soi 12 ( Sherarton Grande ), but I've never stayed in Soi 10. Had passed by the Centre Point Soi 10 building a couple times while in a taxi. It appears quite far from the Suk.

They run a Tuk Tuk to and from Sukhumvit every 10 min or upon demand. Staff is great. I have been known to bring more then one lady home and just smiles from the security staff. Two breakfast coupons although I check in alone. I have stayed at two other Centre Point locations and like this one best.

Coming back from my last stay with Princeton Park I can still strongly recommernd this place. The staff is great, the value for money is much better as Centre Point (which is a good apartment either). That u need a taxi to go in the middle of the city is not that bad, because everything what u need for living (market, shopping centres is easy to reach). I also recommend Din Daeng Market for all persons, who are interested in Thai food and thai living culture. So try it and u will get a better rate for a suite (65 sqm) as for a studio in Centrepoint (45 sqm).
