Hey guys,
I have a bud that wants to go over to BKK and get a studio for a month to month rent. I told him about my old place and another by Victory Monument.
Do any guys know of a place, can be anywhere in BKK, but must have UBC and WIFI....in the 15K a month range?

What ammenities does he want? The place I live meets the first requirements. There is also a real nice pool area, workout area, on property mini-mart, restaurant, laundry, legal office, wash machines, English speaking manager, 3 guards, gated, parks close by, BTS close, cheap barber close, good local community.

I live there. 22,000 baht a month for a 1 bedroom (17,000) on 6 months term.
Tesco Lotus/BTS Onnut at 5 minutes walking distance. 7-11 across the road.
Apartment has good facilities. Free cable (not UBC), free WIFI.

Damn dude, that is a pretty sweet place. He was hoping to get by on $500 US a month (cable, internet, bills etc) for 2 to 3 months. I told him if he wants that then the first thing to do is buy a sweet fan, and only run the AC when he must.
However, 17,000 baht a month for that place seems great.
I am passing this option on to him anyway, cheers!

Actually, the rooms were I stay in (7th floor, street side) are pretty cool and never hot and a fan suffices (don't stay on the top floor).
We only run the aircon in the bedroom for 30 minutes a day just before sleeping.
We never run the aircon in the living room. The price quoted is actually for a corner room (where I stay in), if you can do without that the rate is 16,000 baht per month.
