Realistically for $35K Sing you would live very well in the City/State. $5-8K Gets you an edge of the city Condo (newer ones tend to be small) but older ones can be 2K-3K Squ Foot. Taxes are low BUT Cars expensive, still Taxi's are pretty plentiful & cheap (compared to Australia, not Los).
Restaurants are reasonable but Booze pricey in Pubs & Clubs but Ok in Super Markets. Its a good place with cheap, quick & easy access to playgrounds such as HCMC, Bangkok, Phuket etc.
P4P is plentiful but pricey compared to other nearby Asian Cities.
