Avoid the bar at the top level of Orchard Towers, its the one facing the esculators with an entry and an exit door. It is a gaybar - however, the LBs in there do not look anything like LBs. Scary! But good for just checking out LBs and how beautiful they can be. However, you can tell by looking at their hands.

Most of the Orchard Road Hotels are fine if your a little descrete! Orchard Parade is another good choice!

You must walk fast, no way five minutes!!! It takes 5 minutes in a Taxi!

You may be thinking of the Mandarin in the Marina area. The Meritus Mandarin is right on Orchard Road and is only a few blocks from Orchard Towers.

Orchard Towers is the way to go! It is annexed with a shopping mall that is right across orchard towers. Last time I stayed, I kept bringing girls back for a quick shot and the hotel staff didn't have a problem with it. The room maid was probably a bit annoyed, as I asked for my room to be made every 2-3 hours.
