my trip to A/C back in june is still milling around in my head.
From memory, here's what I found, and the impression it had on me.
Arrival:
I went up on the swaggy bus, met a few guys on there and we decided to meet up for barhopping later.
We started down at the Blue Nile end.
Loads of girls in there (BN & BN exec) but they looked bored and disinterested, making me feel bored and equally disinterested.
We worked our way up the street, having drinks in each little bar.
* Exchange rate was 56 pesos = $1
* drinks cost about 80 pesos for a whisky & coke.
* barfine in all places I went in was 1000 pesos.
* as mentioned before, you see a girl you like, smile & flirt a little, then call her down to sit with you.
* there's pressure almost immediately for you to buy the girl a drink if she sits with you....in ANY bar.
What I did, was sit and chat a little, see how keen she was whilst waving off the attentions of the waitresses asking "you buy lady drink?".
If I was satisfied she was friendly enough, and interesting...or whatever, I bought the drink.
I do my chat up routine alone usually, prefer it that way to having the other guys around.....who invariably are telling you to go for this girl or that girl.
Hey, why don't you go for her, and leave me to mine.
Dirty Duck - some real cute ones in there.
Flamingo - here too, but I'm not so keen on the layout of the place.
Also, if you're staying in the Orchid and you pull a flamingo, she'll probably hear all about it when you bring other girls back, especially if you hang around the restaurant a little, or the pool area.
I took a flamingo dancer one night.......great service. I considered keeping her fora few days as we got along just fine, but it was early in my trip and I wanted to sample other wares.
I loved the Champagne bars, I think they're part of a chain. Lancelot, Camelot & Champagne.
I think Champagne had just about the best line-up of all the bars I went in.
One afternoon there were 3 freelancers flirting with me in fields. I took 1 back to my hotel there and then for 300 pesos. Whislt there I negotiated 500 pesos for another hour.
She was very enthusiastic, but not as pretty as the gogos.
The next day I took her friend, and she asked 700 for LT.
I don't know how other punters have got on with the AC FLs, but I had a good time, and safe too. All my valuables are locked up anyways, so there's nothing to take.
Confettis - nice little bar, and the GROs know how to look after you.
Tom Cat - avoid this place. Do not enter - watered down drinks, poor line-up. Complete crap.
There are some bars up the other end of fields, namely Emotions, Touch of Class, and Stampede.
Drinks are cheaper here, ladies drinks are only about 85 compared to 120.
Ladies? Well, yes, there are some real gems in there. Some girls finish their shift at 11pm, and they be looking to go bar-hopping after.
I only had one bad night, taking a waitress who I thought was cute when I was loaded. I should have taken the time in the bar to see how she was, but I didn't.
That's important. You should always have a chat with the girl to see if she's into this or that. Maybe she won't do bj, or she might want to go home at 1am or whatever. Ask her in the bar. If you have any special requests, I suggest you tip the mamasan, and ask her to piuck out a few girls who will provide that service.

Sorry mate, cannot agree, lots of quality around. The quality of the FL's is very good (plus usually great attitudes) and the BG's are usually less mercinary than many of the TBG's in terms of time!

our very first thing to do in Olongopo Bay or in Angeles was to get a PI BG.
They take care of you hand and foot.
They are your alarm clock, laundry service, and if they don't cook, they'll certainly run out and bring back food.

yeah, you're right on both accounts, the feisty bit is good in the sack..
and the BGs in regular bars know everything that goes on.
We were always recommended to stay away from FLs cause they were suspected to be more likely to have STDs.
I also enjoyed staying in the BGs room, a lot of times connected to the bar, so that I could get a beer any-damn-well time I pleased, from her bar...
and everyone knows you can save on (omit) the price of the hotel if you "go native"...

I been to angeles city many times. For a bit of fun do a early trip to the top of the main area where some of the less pritty girly bars are, for a good time. I recomend Thigh High in the afternoon. There is a chunky girl that works there ok looking but big and she sings allot, she is load, but when you get talking to her she is one of the funniest girlsI have ever talked to in a bar, buy her a drink and she offers you a BBBJ, well she did for me.

unfortunately I DID meet a girl who wouldn't do bj.
She was lukewarm in the sack too; just wanted to get it over with and go home.
This one was the only bad one though.
As I said in my post, I'd had a few drinks and was less able to suss her out in the bar.
The bars in AC contain some of the best looking girls I've ever seen, and most of the time they had great attitudes too.
These girls are still very frsh compared to bkk girls, and a lot of the ones I chatted to were very new to the game.
For me, bkk is no longer a desirable destination for punting.
Phnom Penh & AC are much more fun.
