The prices paid by BKK Blues are indeed high,but that is because he paid well over the odds.
Dr Love is quite correct when he says in the PI the bar fine includes the payment to the girl.The only additional amount you should pay is a tip for superior service which would rarely exceed 1000 pesos.If the service is poor,or the girl provides a short time sevice only when a long time(overnight) service was agreed then no tip should be paid.
http://www.whorist.com is a site with useful up to date information on sex providers in Manila,Angeles,and Cebu.Angeles is similar to Pattaya although there are security issues which require some caution,but bar fines range from 1500 to 3000 with a tip of no more than 500 pesos.
The site also has a section on Thailand,but the author spends most of his time in PI about which his information is much more accurate and up to date, especially in relation to Angeles City.
I have been to Angeles on 4-5 occasions.There is little to do apart from sex, and for me a week is quite long enough.I usually fly on Tiger Airways from Bangkok to Clark which is the airport servicing Angeles.If you book a few months ahead return flights can be had for as little as 4500 baht although 5500 is more the average.This arrangement has the advantage of extending your stay in Thailand by a further 30 days as you receive a visa renewal when you return from Clark to Bangkok.
Cebu Pacific also has flights to Clark,but its flights leave Bangkok and Clark at much later,and hence more inconvenient times,than can be arranged on Tiger.

BKK Blue, I was referring to your prices, yes. And I also misunderstood that the bar fine included the payment to the girl, so when you wrote "I got the barfine down to 3000p and again I paid her 4000p out the door the next morning" I misunderstood that to mean 7000 in total, not 4000.
A week in Angeles sounds like a fun option. I'd like to explore this land of larger-breasted, more passionate, English speaking women!

farangman4,the last post of BKK Blues suggests he did indeed pay a total of 7000 pesos,and on several mornings not just on one.Certainly this is my understanding of what he said in his main post.
If you go to Angeles I suggest you stay at the Clarkton hotel.It is located about 2 kilometers from the main action in Angeles,but it has an excellent pool,and probably the best food in Angeles.A standard room is 1650 pesos a night,but a 10% reduction is made if you stay for at least a week,and pay cash in advance.The hotel also provides a free airport collection from Clark.I suggest you peruse its website http://clarkton.com
Angeles is pretty sleasy,and down-at-heel,and for me staying 2 k away is a plus.Girls are also available at Mirrors(the Clarkton`s go go night club) for a bar fine of 1800 pesos,but most want to leave at 3.30 AM so it pays to bar fine them early.Any who do leave this early fofeit any tip from me.

Oh, sorry BKK Blues.
If it is any consolation, I've made a whole lotta mistakes myself, as I am sure has everyone else on here. Thanks for helping me avoid this one - I'm sure I'll make others when I am there.
Also, you had what sounds like a truly great time, which is I think surprisingly rare amongst mongers. There are bigger mistakes when mongering - and even bigger ones you can make in the Philippines from what I have read.
Valetta - thanks for the tip. I'll look it up nearer the time. It is on my to-do list but I'm not actually planning a trip right now.

No worries farangman4, when you p4p you expect mistakes and such is an occupational hazard. You are correct, I had a great time with her and don’t regret it at all. Just that small sinking feeling deep down when you make mistakes, water under the bridge. I too hope others will learn from reading what we post.
The strange thing though, when you think about it, the freelancer’s are making more money than the bargirls, according to what Dr. Love and the Whorist say. Seems strange doesn’t it? If what my girl says is true, she gets 700p out of the 3000p barfine and nothing else unless I tip her next morning, and with tip being no more than 1000p, the fl’s make more than the bargirls. Oh well, “Ours is not to reason why. Ours is but to do or die.” 
Here’s my next question (literal), when I go back and see the same girl and she don’t get the 4000p the next morning, should I say, ‘Sorry, the family buffalo died.” I guess I will not get a repeat performance after that.

Bkk Blues,I do not think the girl was entirely truthful with you.The normal split is 2/3 to the girl,and 1/3 to the bar,but no doubt some arrangements could be different.However,I very much doubt that the split would be as unfavourable as only 700 pesos to the girl out of a bar fine of 3000.

Valetta, I read over on the Whorist that the barfine is split 50/50. That website talks about tipping as much as 2000p and more.
Thanks for the tip on the Clarkton, looks like a nice place to stay, hope I get to try out the place soon.
How have you gotten to Angeles City in the past do you fly into Clark or catch a bus from Manila? I checked out the 600p bus and looks comfortable and reasonable. Flying looks too expensive and by the time you check-in, wait for flight, fly and get out of airport, time wise pretty close to going by bus.
