hong kong, an update
lan kwai fong and wan chai...
straight from the airport last friday night I am into LKF to meet my friend.
bit point, al's diner, hardy's, stormy weather, red rock, jewel;
to name a few clubs we visited.
bit point - german beer bar, sister company of kowloons biergarten. cute filipinas in charge, but they got all married away to a bunch of british friends. it's slowly time to bring on the younger sisters. good measures of drinks, sea breeze being my favourite.
al's diner - aluminum decor, the chef makes a good burger.
hardy's - terrible band with terrible guest singers, it is karaoke night every night, guess you gotta be drunk to enjoy.
stormy weather - last time I was here it was a italian restaurant, now it belongs to a group of concept restaurants such as igor's. in fact, we are not in the restaurant, but outside on the cobble stone street (d'aguilar street). loads of people. all shades of people. nice group of indian beauties, some larger uk women, aussies, hk chinese, filipinas, with boyfriends. one in our group has a beautiful hk girlfriend, she announces that her girlfriend is even prettier. she arrives all in black, we have a match... she tells me boldly that she is looking for a rich foreign boyfriend. we have 50% compatibility! I tell her that. so she better hurry then, if she wants kids (of course I did not tell her then), but our conversation came to a aprupt halt.
up the stairs into red rock, this used to be THE in club for a couple of years. but has a bit faded away since, quick drink and off we go to the current IN club, jewel.
WOW, I have to say, wild dancing, beer in cans, orgasmic women, wild young hk chicks... not even a toilet and packed. must be IN!!
my friend and I decide that it is time now for the wan chai dungeons.
so off we go to fenwicks. my firend was teasing me in the weeks before, telling me that the best looking tg's are in fact here in hk!! he did not exactly over exaggerate. soem are absolute orbit material.
the band is great, the place is packed. in fact I was standing next to my customer (whom I met next day) but we did not see each other. lots of filipinas, all seem very young and extremly well shaped. girls from vietnam (not bad either!!), indonesia (smaller but very athletic) but almost no mainlanders, seems they are not so welcome in here (I will notice later, that there are legions of them right out on the street).
you gotta see this to believe it... usual rate is hkd 1'000.00 all night.
I am not going into juicy details, but me and my friend took each a filipina home (they were friends) and had a good time. quite a sales pro I got as she calls me every day now, asking how I am and if you need her...

Are you sure of this, it used to be more lkike 2,500HKD, an absolute waste of money.
Unless the prices have dropped.

Yes, prices were $1,000 HKD LT. Most ask $1500-2000 LT but all seemed more than willing to negotiate to 1K! Wide choice of Filipina's, Thai's, Vietnamese plus 1 Italian! Most of the Mainland Ladies seem to frequent the street side & not the Bar's!
Lots more Girls there than I had seen before in these Bars. I guess competition has driven the prices down. Lots of variety & many real stunners.
That said, the Drink prices during normal hours are scary, my friend's drink cost $135 HKD's (over $17.00 USD) a time!!! There are quiet long & late (by Thai standards) Happy hours at most of the Bars some going till 11pm! A beer in these places cost between $20-30 HKD during these times.

junior do not mix wan chai girl bars with freelancer places
like
fenwicks (the best currently)
dusk till dawn (not so crowded anymore)
neptune (lots of mainlanders)
strawberry (lots of late night action)
wanchai girlie bars will still ask for 3'500.00 plus drinks plus 10%

Further to previous correspondence:
The 11USD I quoted was in a 'girlie' bar in Lockhart Rd circa year 2000...and the women were particularly ugly in this bar. One of them was a 40yr old Filipina with huge artificial breasts (come to think of it they did have 'Goodyear" emblazoned across the front).

some wanchai girlie bar "girls" are well seasoned.
drinks range between 110.00 and 330.00 in those bars. your own beer is just 40.00.
but we are playing a different ballgame...
usual drinks are between 35.00 and 60.00. see my list of freelance bars in previous post.
all those freelancers are just here on tourist visas. they are mostly young and mostly beautiful.
my partner in crime had an 18 year old 2 consecutive nights.

Yeah, the first time I was in Wan Chai, I went to small bar which looked like Toy Bar, saw some Filipina and TGs. thought this was like LOS, where one could buy drinks cheaply. After 2 rounds of drinks, my freakin bill came to HKD 3,800!

Were you drinking by the Gallon? Or perhaps were planning a multi party session! I know what you mean I spent a lot more on drinks than on Long Time!
