I was there about 4 weeks ago and as always was charged 600, i'm sure SJ and Joe will atest that if you are a long term regular that used to frequent their place when the price was 600 they will continue to charge you 600, however I do tip a little on top which ensures the actual provider does not lose out.

I didn't think it was ever Bt 600. I thought it was Bt 500 when I first started going, about 6/7 years ago. They then upped straight to Bt 700 and I just paid that price.

jibblies is right..............................this time.
I was writing in response to an enquiry about Mike's Place, thus the 800 baht.
And yes, SOL is still 700 baht, except maybe for some of the lucky old retainers whose twinkle in the eye tells the girls that there is always a generous tip for embellishments and further considerations even if they are charged less on the bill, so in the long run it works out roughly the same.
Whether you pay 1000 at a massage parlour, 800, 700 500 or even if you are prepared to submerge to a Lumpini price of 300, all prices are bargains when you compare it to what you'd get and have to pay for in certain western countries and even then there can be no comparison in the service nor attitude nor after-service treatment.

I have to disagree JW, as for me, it is not about what amount has to be paid but whether I had great value for my investment.
I would prefer to pay 2k and get awesome service rather than 300 and having the impression of partaking in necrophilian activities (f***ing a corpse).
and, I really doubt that the establishment will let the older members pay less... I just think that the girl quietly tops up the 600 with a 100 of her own money. But that only is what I assume.

Great value for your investment raises another issue altogether, although I acknowledge your point, if you'll pardon the expression.
In the ordinary run of things, a constant user of P4P isn't expecting awesome service every time, nor, if he is realistic, expects it unless he wants to be disappointed.
It's the law of averages that evens out all the experiences from the highs and the lows and the in-betweens that give a general expectation to the constant user.
Then the question that you touch upon is just how much you would pay for the best experience of a life-time. But this is fantasizing, as it is only upon reflection of such an experience that we know it has happened.
A guy if he is foolish enough may fork out at the promise of it.
Most guys, having had the experience and then having to pay, have the logical reasoning to think that they weren't expecting it and so can pay the normal rate for an average session.
There is no implication here, Nic, since I think we have all understood from your excellent postings over the years that you reward generously over and above for good service.

Well, you know what.... I never really thought about this but I think that you have nailed it. I think that even the most seasonned pros here, in the back of their minds would take this into account.
And yes, I reward heftily if service was good, and usually, gets better with the repeats

Back in town after 3 months so there's no decison to make is there apart from how long can you resist.
