Well, you know Katai (Tai, Rabbit) left SOL quite a while ago and now works at Som's Haven under the name of Mai. She has reinvented herself as a "Mai Tai." As most of you know, the proprietor of Som's Haven was the famous Som of Lolitas, or better known on this forum as the famous Tuk of SOL. She is purely in management now. If for no other reason (and there are plenty other reasons), those of you bemoaning the good old days, go on over and say hello.

Same demand as my predecessor, any news on SOL. Is Peung still there? Will be only 3 days in Bkk next week, and I would hate to go from Sukhumvit to Siom to no avail.

Hearing that Alice was in town prompted me to think that I have been neglecting SoL far too long, in fact I've only visited about a couple of dozen times since the famous Tuk left those many years ago.
Yes, it's not the same now at all.
Hasn't been since Khun Vichai passed away and one of his last dictated acts was to get rid of the glorious cut-away bar BJ places at the counter.
And then these dictatorship resistrictions on utter joy that periodically are applied really are a dampener, so much so that I refuse to be serviced on site if available nor even in one of the short-time hotels in or around Patpong.
So, I called Pla and Peung to visit me in my home for a long session on the Saturday morning for getting down to the nitty gritty.
I had honestly forgotten just how much they give and the extras they throw in as well during the dancing and drinking and the various sessions of attention.
They prefer the morning as it doesn't interrupt their working day, which is fair enough and I have no quarrel with that except that it does leave me utterly drained for the day.
By the way, if you're planning to visit soon, they will both be away for Songkran, Pla from the 8th. and Peung from the 10th of April. So act quickly because without them, the catch there at the moment is not so great.

I arrived yesterday morning around 9:30 and the door was padlocked, I killed some time in Foodland with groceries and breakfast, but unfortunately at 10:30am they were still closed...great thing about Songkran is the clear roads, I drove across town to Soi 8 and had an uncomfortably spicey BJ...not my first choice but needs must !
