When I first came to LOS it seemed I couldn't walk more than 100 m without hearing "Hotel California" either from a bars dodgy sound system or a live cover band.
It's become something of a trigger for me, when I hear it I know I'm back "in country" so when I walked upstairs at Som's a couple of days ago to hear those prophetic words...you can check out but you can never leave...it was like pulling on a comfortable sweater on a cold winters night.
But coming in her mouth severl minutes later to the sounds of Rod Stewart was, quite frankly, disturbing !
Didn't get her name but skills were good. Line up was much better on my way out than way in. They tried (half joking I hope) for a 100 baht queue jumping charge because no way was a taking the next in line. Nice try girls.

This place has at the moment about 8 to 10 girls, some young and pretty, much better looking than other BJ bars, but most are at best average at doing BJ wich is really really annoying...

I went up to the entrance and as I did a tall, pretty, long haired lady smiled at me and I smiled back indicating to follow, which she did...typical BJ Bar protocol unless you want to have the queue system throw you an ugly !
Inside she asked if I wanted a drink, I ordered a coke and offered her one, and said "shall we go upstairs", she smiled and pointed up the stairs, I started walking and from nowhere was joined on the stairs by this butch, fat looking woman. she squeezed my bum and mentioned something about exciting to suck my cock..i smiled and mentioned I was with the other lady...turns out the other lady was Som, who doesn't service, my bad, but it wasn't obvious and how would I know ?
Anyway, this butch option was not for me so I said gently, "oh, sorry, I really wanted her, never mind, thanks anyway" and was then verbally assaulted, I left 200B on the bar (2 cokes, no idea what the price was but wasn't about to wait and check change etc) and walked straight out. Butchy followed bad mouthing me to the other fuglies sat outside.
Sorry, but that was done in full view of Som, with no effort to stop it or calm it down. So for me, Soms Haven is off my shopping list.
Luckily there are better options, attitudes in SOL for example are always fun.

Meatywsg, I think the less attractive girl you are talking about is known to everyone there; she has a brash personality but it's really just a sense of humor, not always great; I doubt she meant any harm.
I myself am a stickler for being spoken to respectfully when paying for a service, I assure you. Everyone has handled me well there, even when it's taken me a long time to decide.
Sometimes it has taken me a long time to decide because, as madfrog points out, many of these girls are good-lookers though more than half of them are still at a lower range of skill. Nonetheless, there are a few there that can certainly blow the mind and body. From their first day, I have seen a few of them steadily improve over a period of months very well.

That's a good question, madfrog, as to why her behavior is tolerated by Khun Som, as she is pretty much the only rude one there. She is rarely chosen by a customer though I have seen it once in a while. Chosen by weak minded persons, I guess.
Mainly, she seems to think it's her job to act as a maitre d' or sergeant or whatever, assaulting customers first and fetching the girls second. Maybe some of the younger girls like having that there; I don't know. She's never really gotten on my nerves, personally, but it is certainly like an annoying fly in the air sometimes and incongruous to the usually sexy and gentle atmosphere. I would not be surprised if some potential customers had left, like Meatwsg did, because of her inappropriate speech and behavior.

Yes, there is something weird with this one, I asked Som why she let her behave like this and made it clear she was losing customers because of Koi...but I got the "blank stare" answer...wich is NOT Som usual style...
I wonder what is going on, and just ignore Koi whenever she try her bullshit on me, or even make her look stupid answering in Thai stuff like "Stop eating donut all day long then!" when she complain she want more customers.
