When you exit immigration to the main arrival area there will be a big desk/information booth to your immediate left (if I remember right). Thats were you arrange for taxi service. You pay them and you'll get the best rate. DO NOT talk to the hoards of official looking people walking around trying to arrange your travel. They will rip you off.
By the way, the airport is really far away from the City--like 45 mins or so. But the fare is not bad. There are bus and rail services available but Ive never used them.
It is a beautiful city
I dont know about the night life. I've not seen any sex worker in KL but I've heard they're there. It is a muslim country afterall and they frown on that kinda thing.

Thanks for the info. Figure the cost of transportation from the airport to the hotel will be around the same as a taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya.
Used the search engine, but very little info available under Kuala Lumpur at least concerning transportation and play areas close to the Novotel Hotel.

The Express Train (ERL) from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to the City (KL Central Station) is RM 35.00 (about 350 baht). From the KL Central Station you can catch a taxi to whichever hotel you have booked. The taxi fare from KLIA to the City is about 650 to 900 baht

Only know that the Concorde was last year! I doubt if you have a room booked for 2 you will have any problems except for having to probably register your "guest"!
