Just got back from Los and Cambo / Phnom Penh, myself and a mate booked a barge / boat to do new years eve on the Mekong river, cost was $ 60 usd for the boat and food and drink for 4 hours.
We took our Viet Girls with us and we had a great time seeing out new years eve with fire works over Phnom Penh, great view from the river a must do if your in Phnom Penh for new years eve.
I stayed back at the California hotel again, still good value at $ 15 usd a night.
Motto`s are still good value at $ 5 usd for around 7 hours.
Taxi from the airport is still $ 7 usd at the moment

Sounds interesting. I'm going back to PP with a friend this time, so it should be more fun.
We scooped up the Air Asia free fares + tax which is good 650 baht each way. The $175 airfare/ $20 visa/$25 airport tax was putting me off from a 2nd trip.
Bars we plan to hit are the ones I missed last time. Sophie's, Shanghai and DV8 for starters.
Staying at Cafe California. I'm looking forward to the hair raising moto rides and the convenience of having one hired out all night for $5.

I know I'm overdue on visiting Dubai amongst other places. For the amount of time and money it takes me to travel from where I am to anywhere, I prefer a lot of time in a low cost playground.
