In a Major Protest in Greece - a worrying thing occurred that could never have happened 6 months or a year ago-

In a massive crowd of thousands - a hard core group of anarchists perhaps 200 - with faces masked and armed and Angry- moved to the front lines - and began battles of a violent kind with Riot police-

"While the crowd Cheered them on"

No longer were the protested disgusted at radicals that time has past-

In America - things have improved but not for many-

there is a sense of frustration and no hope-

A perception of Failure to deliver- and hardship-

The future may well see a situation where the youth take to the streets-

And attack-

The resentment towards the rich is increasing -

This idea Class warfare will never happen fails to take into account a widening gap -

And the powder Keg that is ignited by hardship and a sense of injustice-

Dirty:

Perhaps you should consider changing your last word from "injustice" to "entitlement".

Well - I didn't want to make it political - but lets go there anyhow-

Yes I am a man who thinks a nation should take care of its Citizens if they are on tough times-

The GFC caused many respectable people to suddenly loose jobs and homes-

Obama seems to want as president to at least try and do something-

But lets look at the Republicans and what they stand for-?

The four remaining GOP hopefuls each have two images: The one they hope to project to the public and the one they actually achieve through their words and deeds. Newt Gingrich's marital antics have made him the adultery candidate. Ron Paul is the fringe candidate. Santorum is anti-gay candidate, by his own words in an AP interview. Mitt Romney takes the cake, though, as the candidate who doesn't care about the poor.

Romney just stuck his foot in his mouth by saying he is "not concerned about the very poor" during a CNN interview. The Romney campaign would have us believe it's no big deal and that the statement, taken in context, is harmless. The Romney campaign is wrong.

First of all, even taken in context it sounds bad. The original statement says that Romney is not concerned about the very rich or the very poor, but is concerned about the middle income earners. If Romney is so concerned about middle-income earners, does it escape him that the very poor have even less going for them than those in the middle range? Romney claims, according to CNN, that the poor need no help because they have a safety net already. That's a shocking statement coming from a guy whose economic plan would hamstring that very safety net.

As if that were not damning enough it's hardly a stand-alone event. Romney's campaign platform is riddled with examples that he is out of touch with the financial woes faced by average Americans.

Romney pays a 15 percent tax rate, which is so low he is paying less than most Americans, poor or not, according to Reuters. Romney's campaign site says he wants to lower taxes on corporations and keep the taxes he pays lower than the income tax paid by most Americans. In other words, his platform benefits big business and rich people, but does little or nothing for the poor.

Don't make the mistake of thinking Romney just chose his words poorly. His record and platform show his loyalty lies with his ultra-rich cronies and massive corporations - not with regular folks. It was already clear Romney wasn't concerned with the poor. His recent statement just confirms it in his own words

.
The worst in capitalism is no one can control those who had all the money. And don't you think that it is dangerous for every one to see the world's wealth only in the hands of 10pc of its inhabitants. ?

Do you know which party is generally considered the party of "entitlements"?

Obama wants to get reelected...full stop. He couldn't care less about the poor any more than any other politician and if you think differently you are seriously misguided.

Ronald Reagan said it best when he said..."Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first."

Dg for all the shit you take seems a lot here appreciate your princely efforts at keeping this place going. What do you think about opening up this forum to all- seems so inbred here. Discussion either stale or none at all.

There is no point in saying what only God knows lays ahead for us all-

I pray every night people discover being mean see its not good for their health (stress and anger)

As for forum ideas - go right ahead and make some suggestions -

This is a heart warming insight
