A comment in another thread prompted me to start this one. I don't want to start a 'it was better in the old days thread' but it seems to me that a majority of gogo dancers now just shuffle from one foot to the other looking bored as hell. Going to a NanaPong night in Nana last year reminded me of the atmosphere many bars used to have 5+ years ago, with the girls trying to out do each other in erotic moves, laughing and having a wild time.
What do you think; valid observation or have I got the rose tinted glasses on? While I'm on the subject let's have your vote for the bar with the livliest gogo dancers.

PP - I don't have any hope of giving you THE definitive answer but I do know that the following does apply in a number of cases.
Thai women are not generally raised to be promiscuous sex beasts and are more shy and reserved "in their natural habitat".
Also, if one tells even a stunner that she is gorgeous, she won't believe you. She may have an "attitude" because she is popular but I would stretch my neck out to say that it is not because she thinks she is good looking.
So, put the two together and it seems to me that part of what you are seeing are more new girls entering the scene than there were before.
Put the knee high moon boots on the other foot and ask yourself, even if you were Adonis personified, yet grew up on a farm in Bumf_ck Idaho in a Mormon community, would you feel comfortable getting up on stage and "letting it all hang out"?
So, PART of what you are seeing, I think, is newer girls that have been recruited to fill an expanding market as well as filling holes in a troubled economy.

You got me thinking, and I'd have to agree their are a lot more new girls appearing on the scene and generally a little older than was once the norm making them perhaps not so inclined to compete in on stage antics. They're still pretty good at Long Gun when you can get a seat, perhaps that part of it's success.

If you want dancers, then go to Club Orbit or Forte. Because I don't think any Go Go club dancer could hang with most of the dancers at these two clubs!!
But ... I do think that the dancing skills have gone down in the Go Go's then before. I guess the females figure they don't have to dance to get the attention, so maybe it's becoming a lost art!! ha ha ha!
