Can anyone suggest the best bars to go that have really big TVs (that is, 'televisions', not 'transvestites'...).
I want to go somewhere good to watch Newcastle v Chelsea tonight (obviously an adequate supply of friendly young ladies is also part of the criteria)

There are usually 2 live games on at 10pm on a Saturday night....the Londoner is always good as they have them both on across the pub...so no disappointement if Man U are in the other game and you don't want to be bored again by those wankers
However young ladies are not part of the scene there....though there's often some nice ladies around who you can chat to...and some of them are 'legit'

If you just sit at any outside bar on the ground of nana plaza. Not bib screens but tv's all over the place, from every bar. Can be a good atmosphere there, and you also get to see the comings and goings of nana plaza, can't be bad !!

Gulliver is pretty good, especially if the game is in the afternoon; tends to attract a bit more than just the p4p crowd which adds to atmosphere.
When they have proper sports on like rugby and stuff, then the crowd can be quite good; soccer you have a much wider choice of places, since Thai people also like to watch soccer.

Wow, I can't believe Gulliver's isnt on top of everyone's list! I've been to the londoner and the p4p scene is pretty mute there and unless you have a real good seat, you may end up watching the game on a regular hotel sized TV!
Gulliver's is in a league of it's own. Huge screens all over, classy joint (You can tell they actually sunk alot of money into it), and great atmosphere. Tons of P4P as well as 'regular people'. There's even a no-smoking viewing area sometimes off to the restaurant side, desginated with a sign next to the TV)... You'll find tons of supporters of both sides usually here also, so you get the energy of being surrounded by fellow supporters, without having to worry about a British-brawl happening.
I haven't tried these other places mention, I'll have to give it a try though. Cheers!
