Have been a few times. What exactly do you want to know? Hopefully the following helps. Ad Makers/2 is a somewhat upscale pub/restaurant. Live music on some nights anyway, not exactly cheap and not a bg hangout. The food is not great but ok. I seem to recall that it is Thai food but don't remember if there are other options. When I have been there I have been the only falang with a tg. Mostly, male businessman (thai, falang, japanese) having some brews and dinner. But I have usually been there fairly early and it seems to become a more jumping place later on. And if you don't know, Langsuan is basically at the Chitlom BTS stop.

If you get in a cab and tell them Soi Langsuan they should know it. From Suk Soi 11, you basically want to head back towards Nana (suk soi 4) on Suk and then you keep going for another maybe 1-2 kilometres (really not that far of a trip). Suk becomes Ploenchit and Langsuan intersects it. You take a left from Ploenchit onto Langsuan. Continue down about 3/4 of the way down Langsuan (a few hundred meters) and Admakers is on your left. Look for the sign, if I remember the place may be obscured by some trees. If you pass the Centrepoint Serviced Apartment or hit Sarasin (the street at the end of Langsuan at which point you will be staring into Lumpini Park), you have gone too far (if you come to centrepoint and realize it, get out and walk back up, it is not too far). This is maybe a 40 baht ride (?) on the meter. If you take BTS (probably from Nana stop), you go towards MoChit (someone else correct me if I forgot the BTS) get off at Chitlom and walk to the exit furthest to the east (?), i.e. back in the direction the train came from and you will basically come down the stairs (and take a hard right off the stairs) about 15 meters from Langsuan (take a left). You could walk down Langsuan to Admakers, but if it is hot, it is far enough that you will work up a sweat, so better off with a motorcycle taxi which you can catch maybe 10 meters into the Soi. Hopefully, by trying to be detailed I haven't been too confusing with my directions.

I have been here a few times, its nice because it has live music and decent food. Most of the patrons are local Thais, they mostly come from the businesses on the street, this place is popular among the Advertising Company employees on the road. To get there, tell the taxi driver "Soi Langsuan", after the Starbucks (left hand side), tell him to slow down and look for a standing Jack Daniels sign on your left. JD is a major sponsor at Admakers, if you see the sign, stop there and that is the pub you want.
Its a nice place to play cute couple, the BGs I've taken there definitely liked going there and playing "normal" couple instead of being dragged to Go-Go after Go-Go.

ok, totally off-topic. When did the starbucks open? (wondering if I walked by a 100 times without noticing or getting my caffeine fix) And just a side-note the tg's I went with didn't really care for the food but the rice served in a heart shape was a hit.

Nikko: Starbucks has been there for a while, at least since August but I recently was in there in November. At the beginning of the road is the Italian restaurant, then its Starbucks, then 7-11, then Admakers, then some food stalls, then Centrepoint-Hotel, then some big/bright restaurants. Yeah, the food is your standard food, and we usually just get a bunch of appretizers and drinks. Like I said, just a nice quiet place to play cute "normal" couple for the night.
BTW, the Starbucks always seems to have young, cute girls sitting around, they are either still in college or just out of college and working their 1st jobs. I got some stares but don't know if it was because I am such a handsome devil and they wanted to meet me (probably not) or they instantly recognized I was with a BG and thought I was a disgusting guy (more likely). It didnt matter because the girl I was with had a body carved out of wood and a heart of gold and I was happy to be with her.
