Spoke with Taffy today at Alcatraz
that's what he's renaming New Corner Bar on Soi 11
he's having it repainted inside right now and will redo the windows so that the oncoming traffic does not shine into the bar
he's still not 100% certain that Wash. Sq. will be torn down, but he's making contingency plans all the same
Taffy plans to open by Tuesday next week and the gals will be sporting prison outfits with a little ball and chain

at his bar in Wash. Sq. (Soi 22), New Square One Pub
and he said they'd be having their Grand Opening on March 4th
1st Friday of March

I was in Corner Bar last night and spoke with this to Fa.. the older of the girls who works there. She didnt know anything about the details but had heard things were changing. I didnt mention the prison uniforms to her

In TLS today having lunch. Met Taffy. He is holding the Grand Opening this coming Friday 4 March. Complimentary food etc from 7 pm onwards.
Heard some other regulars grousing about the chairs in Alcatraz, opined that maybe they weren't the most comfortable.
I plan to go so might see some of you there. Regards
