Ahhh,NEP....where to start? This incredible plaza snatched the premier "gogo haunt" from Patpong permanently in about 1999 and has expanded ever since. Is NEP is good as Patpong was,even in it's heyday? some people think so. I don't know,but I DO KNOW there are more TG's available in NEP,Soi 4,and the surrounding area right now than there has ever been since Ive been coming to BKK. So here goes.....
RAINBOW 1-One of the better in NEP for sure,In 1995 it had just a couple of girls on staff,actually went katoey for awhile (!) and then closed completely in mid-96. However when it reopened the following winter it was under the format that many of us came to love: purplish black-lighting,cute TG's and, more often than not, a lot of 'em. This place has simply always been in the top three on any given trip for me. I have shagged knockout after knockout from this place and had an incredible time. In 95 the thong was the costume of choice in most go-gos. This bar was the first bar to have a majority of it's girls in G-strings,which was quickly aped by most other bars (Thank you Lord). Really biggest change was last summer when mama-san and girls moved to RB4 but happily the crew that moved in didn't change much (except decorations a little) Must stop for players in BKK
PLAYSKOOL:Peaked in 2003-04 with a series of babes that really drew the crowds. However the music sucks here (old rock 'n roll) and Ive noticed a big drop in lookers and customers in last 18 months. I believe was known as Mon Cheri up until 1995 and then changed to schoolgirl format. interesting to see if it can come back.
HOLLYWOOD ROCK: THIS place has some history:formerly known as Hollywood Royale until 1997 it was a dark,ultra-sleazy venue with graphic sex shows,and dark corners where things could and did happen. Ill quote a Fieldings travel guide from 10 years ago:"An indoor nudist's colony" "surreal carnival tent" and "Ancient Rome on LSD". For some reason they changed the format to standard gogo with obligatory black-lighting in mid-1998 and it became just another bar,and with the exception of a short run a few years ago,not a very good one as far as stunners are. remodeled at least twice since and known as Hollywood Rock it is probably the weakest downstairs entry in NEP.
RAINBOW 2- Big,famous go-go back in the corner can certainly be argued as the best in NEP or even in BKK. Girls on staff here are in excess of 150 and although most arent hot just the percentages are going to guarantee some hot pussy in here. Lots of Japs here though.I hope you like cigarette smoke,and don't even plan on getting a seat after 9 on the weekend. This place was known as XXXstasy until 1997 when it became RB2 had a slow start and then took off in 1998. Make no mistake about it. This has been the best consistently in NEP for the last 8 years. 95 percent of girls here WILL go LT (contrary to reports elsewhere on this forum) although I'll admit that the 5% that won't are usually the creme de la creme. RB2 is like sex itself...when it's good it can be rapturous...when it's bad it is still pretty good. Remodeled mid-2005
OBSESSION:Opened winter 98-99 with leather bikinis (!) immediately hijacked by LB's and therefore off my to do list.
VOODOO:The history of Voodoo is like a yo-yo,good-bad-good-bad. One time it will be crowded with hot TG's...six mos later empty and mediocre girls at best. Love the partitions in front of the seats though. Been the same since 95 interior wise. Strong in 2000-01. Had a devastating girl here in'01 (the title girl of my signature). A must stop if for nothing more than it's large size
PRETTY LADY: Before the Rainbows took over this was THE bar in NEP in 96-97, Always a bit sleazy with TG's that usually really know how to party. If someone asked me for odds for a girl NOT being a starfish..I would pick this bar. Quite a few regulars here (ex-pats,although they don't overwhelm the place like certain other areas) As of this writing probably one of best 6 or so in NEP. I advise it. (opened 1994)
RED LIPS: Opened in winter of 98-99, I BF'd a hottie here in spring 99 trip and havent seen a cute one since (?). Usually only a half-dozen or so girls on hand.
LOLLIPOP: Formerly 2 bars Lollipop and Bubble Gum,and then Lollipop and Mermaidium-this place had a big swim tank that nude TG's would dive for coined baht in right in the middle of the bar!!! (The only thing hotter than a TG's body may be a TG's body swimming underwater completely nude)  Still,the MIB's were not amused, and it (the pool) was only open on certain nights even in its heyday. Now a simple,and not very good,go-go.

Part II- FARANG CONNECTION-This is not the same bar that once sat where AW is at.This used to be known as Tittie Twister until about a year or two ago.small and dingy at top of stairs off to left (right side)
RAINBOW 3-Opened 2001,smallest and weakest of Rainbow group,although I have seen stunners here for sure,be on the lookout for underage girls as that is a c
ertainty here.
MERCURY-Opened around 2003,tucked beneath stairs going up to the third floor,place is worth a visit as at 7p.m. it may look dreary but by 11 or so there's quite a bit going on. Alot of girls for a smaller club.A sleeper.
EROTICA-Opened around 2003,crammed between second and third floor actually ON the stairs.I like this place. Girls seem to be kinda young,but really energetic.Almost invisible,white dental floss G-strings and good lighting make this one a visual feast even when there are no stunners on hand.BFd 2 from here,both were OK (but, again,be careful of the age.
SPANKY'S-Formerly Three Roses,a somewhat dreary pub like bar this place went full go-go in 2003,Not a lot of girls but there have been some cuties. But because it's a small bar they are usually BF'd early.
HOG'S BREATH-Really just a pub with a couple of dancers on hand this is a big expat hangout. Group of retired farangs come in with their golf-clubs every night around 7 and hold court in front of bar (Look for the guy with the ball cap and white mustache) Usually no 'serious' pussy however.
ANGELWITCH- Formerly Farang Connection closed 2001 re-opened 6 mos later as the infamous AW with exotic outfits,sexy dancers,and S&M edged shows. Quickly vaulted to the top of NEP for both TG quality and crowds. By early 2003 was the best bar in NEP although it's dropped that title subsequently. Still a fun place to hang out,but gets crowded late. The TG's Iv'e BF'd from here have been VERY good in the sack.
DC-10-Small crackerbox bar in same location for 11 years,Iv'e never BF'd anyone from here,that should tell you something.
SEXY NIGHT-Better,although similar in decor to above. The difference here is the babes are occasionally cute (There's about 20 of 'em on most nights) dressed in skimpy blue bikinis.Worth a look
CASANOVA-LB's, avoid it. been here for ages.
G-SPOT- formerly Madison's which closed mid-1995,remodeled,and reopened as G-Spot during winter of 1995-96. 1.Largest electric sign in Bangkok go-gos 2. Largest floor area of any go-go in BKK 3. In top three in NEP as far as number of TG's on staff.My opinion: Alot of dogs here,but because of sheer numbers always a couple of dolls,too. If G-Spot had a bit better selection it would be simply too much. As it has all the ingredients for a super go-go : Big,good sound system,number of girls,etc. Top 6-7 bars in NEP.
RAINBOW 4- Opened mid-2005, Well is it,or isn't it? My opinion is that this IS the best go-go bar in NEP for sanuk. There are adorable girls here,which,when it opened,became a dream come true for us Rainbow lovers. Imagine Rainbow 1 doubles in size and moves upstairs. And then the old Rainbow 1 is filled with cute ones too. crowded,with a lot of Nips,though. If this isn't the best bar,then it is a close second to RB2.
TEMPTATIONS:LB's took over 18 mos ago,ruining another bar. I BF'd a cute one here in 2004 (no not a LB-a real TG) opened 2003.
FANTASIA-opened when I came to LOS in 1995. Same interior since,with the exception of added rotating stage a few years ago. from 2001-03 a sleeper for sure as they had some cute ones,but,that,unfortuantly,has passed.
SILVER DRAGON-small bar that sat where several 'pubs' were located (Nancy,Paradisio) became a larger and colorful go-go in 2002. Interior is cool, but TG selection fluctuates from trip to trip. I don't rate this place real high because there are usually only about 8 girls on stage at any one time dancing.......next we'll go to the third floor....

i went to one of these before... f*** show on stage, at one point there was about 20 guys on stage all f***ing each other and in the back by the restrooms was a shower show with more going on inside the close din glass...... everyhting in the audience form middle aged thai women buying out a f*** to queer farangs bf'ing their man for the night..... don't remember the name of the bar though.....
