I think in the gay soi there is a disco or bar or two at the end that might attract some female FL's because of the very loud live music, but I can't remember and don't go down there. That's about it. Oh, except for the big park called Lumpini at the east end of Silom. Circumnambulate that after dark, lots of FLs there. That's all.

Silom Soi 2 [the little Khaosan Road] and the 2 soi Patpong are the "only" and best pick-up areas in Silom [check out the discos when they got really crowded after 01:00].
Funny how the McD's opposite Patpong is also a good place to meet TGs/BGs getting there for a quick bite.
Tawan Daeng in Naratiwas [not far from Silom] is perhaps the best choice, together with the restaurants with life music by the river

The best pickup (and after working time meeting place) used to be TipTop Restaurant right on Patpong.
But since it has been upgraded, not a lot BG visit that place on their own.

Gee, thanks for the memories. TipTop... haven't thought about that joint for a while... It used to be much seedier... I got a handjob in there once by an FL whom I had picked up in Music Cafe or whatever it's called. The place is so loud my eyes blur and I can't read the sign. King's Garden, in the days of Khun Somsak before it got refurbished into what it is now, used to be a big FL pick up place.
Hi caronte.. you're right about the place in Yannawa, but he ought to be careful because most of the clientelle there is not actually freelancing but just out with friends. Not to say they can't be picked up though.

I used to go there with a good friend of mine that owns the Crown Royal. We always sat in the room on the left at a particular table. There was a rat that used to poke his head out of a hole that I fed when we were there. Rats gotta eat too.
We also used to have to thump baby cockroaches off the table when we sat down. A rather sleazy place as you say.
That's when Madrid was the cleanest place on Patpong.

Tiptop had rather discreet booths in the old (really old) setup, especially in the back..... I guess 15-20 years ago....
The setup menu, including soup, prawn cocktail, steak and dessert was THB 99..... THB 109 with the T Bone Steak....
