The girls that I know that have got a man to pay this 7000 - 10000bht thingy like it cause it means they don't have to dance in the bar anymore, but they still work there. I know 5 or 6 girls that have had this happen to them.
seems strange to me, it's normally blokes on holiday that do it ( not that theres anything wrong with blokes on holidy) they then tend to call the girl there girlfriend !!!

It's a scam the girls are not slaves to the club so should not have to be bought out, the exception is the non dance payment which is new on me. Have heard differing stories on the fine, the girls get a cut, it holds the job open should they want to come back, its to pay off debts the girl has built up, this could be low ladys drinks bar fines etc.
I cant see why the girl cant just walk away from the bar and get a job in any other bar except a group bar of course in any town in Thailand. I have seen girls I know from BKK working a bar in Pattaya she said she did this as a holiday from BKK, didn't ask if she had bought or been bought out of the previouse bar.
Another is the virgin price how can a bar charge for that, now if the girl gets all the money OK. But you only pay the bar the BF and the girl directly for her time so why is it not the same for the virgin? Never done either by the way.

As I know it the Blue House in Pattaya has most of the working girls living there like slaves normally because,
1. The are indebted to the bar ( borrowed money)
My present girlfriend when she came to Pattaya after being abonded by her Thai husband had to borrow money from the bar. She had to sign a 5 year contract to work there. All they could do was ST upsatirs, no one could leave the bar.
They paid them their salary once a year. Every month they got their BF money and drink money.
One time 5 girls went to see the temple (budda) and it was the mamasan's birthday so they went with her and they were late getting back to the bar. She fined each one of them 500 baht.
Don't know if the practice is still going on or not. But sometimes these girls put up with more than the customers.
