Also in most places several bars are owned by the one group and the girls circulate between the bars - as of course do the customers.
It must be possible to create a formula for comparing bars regardless of size, location, number of staff and turn over (great expression in this context!) however it is beyond my expertise - as would be running a bar.

c = p*a*m*[delta-b]* (w^1.2)
c = average customers headcount
p = number of go-go poles
a = accessibility gradient, (do you have to climb stairs or walk past better places or lots of touts to get there?)
m = music suckage index
delta-b = deviation of price of beer from average
w = width of bar expressed as shop-houses (or area in square meters / 42 sq.m.)

VJ you are using very subjecdtive criteria when giving weights to factors. Better feed the data to a computer and do a statistical regression analysis. Anyway, EWO can lecture us on this -rightly so.

hmmm.. could work. but easier yet I think is to get the revenue data and the number of "jäckets" on a daily basis. then you get lots of things from that data.
i have some data for some type of night venues here. for now, what I see to be fairly consistent is that a typical Friday amounts to about 2.5 x regular sundays in revenue and attendance.

It does make sense that Sunday would be a flat spot. The English teachers are all broke by then... 
Suriously, most of the locals rein themselves in to be ready for Monday at work, and the visitors often leave on the Sunday morning flights to be back at work in Farangland on Monday or Tuesday.

i used to manage a gogo bar in pattaya.out of the way and a dump.the owner used to make nearly 1 million baht a month after costs..not so bad.beer bars are just charitable instituitions in the main
