Not that anyone is dying to hear what I have to say but I can vouch for the accuracy of The Doc's last post and I (gaurdedly) agree with Chateaujade's analysis. (Though I think that CJ might agree that there has been an inevitable trend, over the last two decades, towards less and less freedom to behave however we like and an increased concern with the image of Thailand (and at least for a while there, a slightly increased ability to earn FOREX from other more palatable assets.) I don't believe everything will ever completely go back to what it once was. The pendulim always swings back but its range of motion slowly decreases.
