Decent cajun grub at Bourbon St. But the Mexican food at Lone Star was attrocious!
There was a place on the other side of Soi 22 - I think Tina's... ladies (not girls) were ready to rumble and it is cheap if not cheerful.

There is some good background on the Washington Square joints courtesy of the long-departed Chateau Jade on an earlier thread here.
I have always found Bourbon Street over-rated, but it is a "no surprises" place that has become the go-to standby for a lot of expats. Both Silver Dollar and Texas Lone Star pretend to serve food but it is pretty rough fare, particulary TLS as jack attack mentions. The women are similar to the food in these dumps... ok in a pinch on a slow night with a lot of liquor onboard... maybe. Silver Dollar, Wild Country and Cat's Meow all have ST rooms upstairs, basic but serviceable. But don't expect anything over a 5 at any of them.

Have to agree that is how I find most places in WS. I haven't tried them all but some v drunken nights with American friends have ended up in a few, names forgotten, bar forgettable.
If you want to avoid the regular crowd of friends / work buddies who may or may not frequent 33/Cowboy/Nana then it is an option. Discretion can be advisable sometimes..............
OK, really it is because I live around the corner and I am a lazy git, there are a million better places in BKK.

as mentioned before, only been there in broad daylight before.
if not satisfied I could always go nearby to Soi 33 and/or Londoner

Yorkie is probably talking about Wild Country. Look for Garden Spa (on the east side of the square and very visible). WC is directly across the soi from the Spa... look for Noi... she's a legend there.......

I never caught her name but I am guessing it is the less than delightful girl you are talking about.
Was taken to Wild Country on a couple of evenings, the women in there are generally horror bags. One girl, presuamably Noi, welcomed us into the bar (we were sat along the wall facing the bar) by throwing her dress over her head and bending over and spreading her ass. I swear her hoop was so wide and being not more than a couple feet from our faces with only a small beer table as a barrier, we could all smell what she had for lunch that was in the colonic departure lounge. Well I thought...this is one to take home to your mum.
Forget 'tea towel holder'... this gals asshole coulda been used to park your Heinken bottle in. The large ones.
Needless to say, you lads wont see me in there again.
