The problem here is that I guess FP does not mind paying the BF if it is for a valid time, he can get his value out of it so to speak. The other problem is that he considers her a friend and that she should not do that to him and if she was a real friend, she would not have asked. It seems that his feelings may have been a little let down upon realising that this person was really not that much different to the others at the end of the day, its work.
I have had a girl in a gogo tell me to wait at so and so bar for her, she will be there in a minute. Why, because she sadi it was not good to have the bar see her leave with me and I not may the bf. In this case, she wanted to go and she is a friend, not a truly great friend, but at least a friend.

Naughtius....have a 'friend' in Patpong who always does the same. She will arrange to meet me on Sukhumvit rather than me barfine her.
I suppose the odd girl who perhaps like this particular one who doesn't barfine regularly perhaps might need someone to do so for her the odd time. Perhaps if she is as she says one of the more choosy ones then perhaps you could see her point. A particular girl I know in Soi Cowboy bf's about once a month according to the Mamasan which I found hard to believe at first but have actually seen her refuse a few fellas on 5 or 6 different visits.

Perhapd after 'doing' a customer before this..? On the 'Pong" they have rather strict rules about the minimum fines the yneed per month before they get cut in their pay. She may have a few good sponsers though..

Not that this happened in FPs case, but consider this. FP, if you had said "I will come back when your bar closes, but if you have a customer pay barfine before that, call me so I know you cannot meet me."
But by telling her "I see you in 2 hours outside the bar", what should she have done if another customer wanted to pay barfine for her before you returned? This would put her in a bad situation because she would have to tell mamasan that she was unavailable to be barfined. Not good. Part of her job is to be barfined by people who want to pay the barfine.
If you only wanted to eat with her and not screw, it would probably be better to meet her at the place you will be eating, with the condition that she should call you if she cannot meet you because another customer payed the barfine.
If I had locked her 100% up for a meeting at a specific time, I would pay the barfine (and the bar and the girl would expect that too), which will guarentee she will be there.
I have met many girls from Soi33 after hours, but I have always said "If you have customer pay barfine and you cannot meet me, it is OK. Good for you." And I always exchange phone calls or messages later in the night to see if our meeting is still on.
