rainbow group is owned by a thai family.
1 brother owned rainbow 2 and rented rainbow 1 from his sister who also owns rainbow 3, the bar outside rainbow 1 and the ST hotel above r3. her son is her partner.
now rainbow 4 opened it belongs to the brother.
rainbow 2 is open and should remain so.
rainbow 1 has been taken over by rainbow 3 people and will close for a short renovation.

Tried Rainbow 4 at the weekend. Nice decor, lighting and layout but the girls attitudes (95% ice queens) are not worth the 120 baht a drink extortion. Had quite a handfull of LBs in their too ranging from very convincing to certainly not female! (Why are punters paying such silly prices for their drinks in NEP? My advice...boycott the NEP go-gos until their are sensible drinks prices..or make the drink that you buy last a good 2 hours)
Incidentally the Rainbow 1 renovation will be completed at the start of June. Lets hope the prices of drinks stick around 100 baht and the girls are the same as before its refurbishment as I was impressed with this go-go in April.

I was in RB4 on Saturday night and I was almost certain of two LBs in there. Im quite good at spotting them now. These two had the higher cheekbones, stronger facial bone structure, larger feet/hands/ over emphasised feminine walk etc.
