NEP level 3:MANDARIN-Opened in 2002 or 2003,unique decor with 2 levels and strange cutaway seats. maybe some cute ones but the only thing I can guarantee here is dodging more f***ing katoeys. Although,to be fair there are still more legit girls than LBs.
CARNIVAL-Big flagship bar (along with Voodoo) of Crown Group. Opened 1999 and had some incredible sex shows (This is the only place I ever saw a girl get DP'd on stage in front of everybody). Some dolls in 1999-2000 but fell downward since. Big mechanical bull in here too. Rather sleazy now though.
CASCADE-More ladyboys. (A shame because rock and waterfall decor was inventive when opened in 2002.)
HOLLYWOOD 2- Terrific sex shows and hot babes in 2001-02 but place is always half-empty now. The pathetic Bob Seeger and Eagles songs they play over and over doesn't help.
HOLLYWOOD STRIP AND CAROUSEL- Opened in 1995 and was the first bar on the third floor at NEP. A small bar at first it expanded threefold in 1998. A bit better than the above bar because there are a lot of girls here-most of them just aren't that cute.Used to have nice shows and played good porn on TV (Lots of Asian Fever:For the uniniated that is Thai BG's getting f***ed by professional porn studs.) However now all they show is soccer (Yawn). I have seen babes in here but it is a kind of hit and miss affair.Probably your best bet on the third floor although none of these clubs are as good as 10 or so down on the bottom 2 floors.

Since NEP has nothing but grown since 1995 there are very few bars that are no longer open (as opposed to Patpong) still there are a few....
VIXENS-Where Big Mango beer bar now sits (Opened 1996-2000?) Had cuties when first opened but slid downhill pretty fast...a shame:had cool pink and black color sequence inside.
BUBBLE GUM-Where Lollipop now sits.
ROSEMARY-BJ bar sat where RB4 now sits. small but I had fun with a couple of chicks who worked here.
SPIDERS WEB-Another bar that set where RB 4 now sits.Was there a while.
FARANG CONNECTION-The old FC was where AW now sits. It opened in mid-80s and was best 'upstairs' bar in NEP for quite some time. I shagged a couple of serious babes in this place.
BEVERLY HILLS-Opened 1998-99 and immediately melded with Hollywood Strip (They knocked a wall down between the bars) Was huge for awhile as 1 bar. Now when you are in Hollywood Strip look to the left past the second stage at all the empty space-this is where Bevery Hills was at.
Now the question is: Where the hell else can they squeeze a go-go in NEP?? With the exception of taking over the short-time rooms between Cascade and Carnival I'm stumped. PENBELLY

Excellent summary, Penbelly. Missed Bottoms Up (left hand side on ground level) on the list. Does it still exist?
Remember it having one stage with starkers a couple of years back. Don't recall visiting it since then.
Am planning to return to BKK next month. I know from other posts on the forum that the nudity rules have somewhat relaxed now (thank God!), esp on Cowboy. How about NEP? Which bars feature topless, bottomless, and see-thru costumes. You mention a few with revealing outfits, but an update on all bars would be really useful.

So, based on your extensive experience, is the nudity level in NEP same/close/behind that on SC (e.g., Midnite, Baccara, Shebas, Sharks, etc.) that one gathers from other posts on the forum? Which bars are outstanding in this respect?
