Oldtimer

This older (very old) guy doesn't pay less. In fact, Oldtimer pays a very good deal more than when he first came to LOS...but that was more than three decades ago.
Nevertheless, Thai BG's in most cases seem happy to spend with me. In fact they say that I am a lot easier on them than the young guys....but I suspect that's because they think its something I would like to hear...along with "so much power" etc.
One thing is for sure, Oldtimer takes everything a BG says with a pinch of salt...never forgetting that even though we may have some good times together, I am always just a customer. Perhaps I get a bit of respect too because I speak the lingo fairly well and have obviously been around so long that the wool cannot be pulled over my eyes.
By the pay Oldtimer used to have a AARP card for hotel discounts in the US and UK and even at the JW Marriott in BKK, but now find that I can get them just for the asking.
