I was in Gulliver's last month.
An old friend and I were there a few days in a row when we met in Bangkok and we both stayed at the Landmark.
We were getting ready to go one afternoon and I started getting "eyed" by a FL at the bar.
Well, after the second or third time, I commented to my buddy and went to see more up close.
After the usual banter, she spoke really good english, good for me because my Thai is lacking.....My buddy is on his tenth trip so, he is speaking Thai pretty good.
Time to go, he is to meet one of his tee lac's elsewhere. (He says he is around 250 now), (He calls himself the Jow Chu Grand Master.)
Ended up keeping her for about 10 days, she went to Pattaya with us a few days later.
Money was never discussed and I could have probably gotten away with the freebie, but I took her shopping a few times in Pattaya and gave her money for "shopping".
Other than the three days she spent in Bangkok to see her mom and son mid-way, it was a good time.
This only gave me the opportunity to check out a few other things I had seen in TQ and Nevada and on Soi 6.
Oops, gotta go she is online now....I gotta act right, she got a job in an internet cafe so we could chat, (what a gal), and she is an accountant when she is not wasting her time with me. (You gotta love it).

OK, went to Pattaya and had to see about 20 different bars with my friend as he is on a constant search for the "next" one while in Pattaya. Tee lac and I were told to keep a running count, she laughed, I just shook my head, again.
Nevada, TQ, during the day and Coyotees, Secrets, etc. etc. etc. were the main hangouts at night.
The funniest thing happened while in Pattaya this time. The friend meets a girl named "Tom".
Well, the next morning he says "it was kind of strange, when I got ready to come, I was saying 'Oh, Tom,... Oh, Tom'... and it felt kind of gay"......I laughed for a week about that one....
Must say that there are some fine ones and yes, Dr. Love even Soi 6 has some real cuties, more than he will acknowledge.

Now that's funny.... another misunderstanding.
If you had read my previous posts carefully about Soi 6, I detested the fact that members thought Soi 6 was filled for 80% with ugly and fat women.
I even said that I felt Soi 6 had 7 and 8's... I myself are a Soi 6 fan....

cool. you guys have renewed my faith in one of my favorite bkk institutions, and pointed me in some possible new directions!
RTB, I've seen a couple other posts that make me think soi 7/1 is up and coming (besides Eden Club, which all about 'up and coming'!) Is the 'Tunnel' that little alley between BG7 and Soi5, or am I way off?
the freelancer scene is always a little dodgy right on Suk, better later on I think when girls empty out of the bars. I had a friend pick up a very hot FL early evening on Suk who not only stole his phone but gave him herpes too - yikes! plus the obvious (or not?) presence of ladyboys...
Also planning my first ever visit to Pattaya later in July, but I may take a pass on 'Tom' 
I'll be at Livingstone's from the 25th (also a fair place to meet a few freelancers as well as some fine BGs). glad to hook up for a beer or 3 with any brothers. just PM me.

nah. forget that tunnel.
the one I am talking about is on langsuan soi 5.
packs in 500 to 1000 people regularly after hours.
great place, dj's, lots of eyecandy.
7/1 beerbars are rather disappointing IMO.
