Doc, as much as I never thought I would have to say it, but, you are right.
I forgot those four (?) booths at the back in that smaller room. Dark blue in color, as I recall? We always sat at a table out in the middle as the rat's room was right in front of the booth on the left and we didn't want to interfere with him.
Wasn't the toilet back there somewhere as well?
This would have been in the 1986-88 time frame.

Yes, don't recall the color, but yes there was a toilet on the left hand side and a door in the middle serving as a quick exit.
The period is correct. At that time I lived with my first longtime TG in Suan Phlu and we had regular 4am dinners there....

I am glad that in some very small way I was a part of what made this possible.

You're right, CG, it is. I've been in there once. I could be mistaken, but I don't think there are too many FL's in there, per se, though there may be single girls there, of various nationalities.

Yes, Noriega's is not a pick-up bar, more of a music place. It's in an interesting location, at the end of a soi that is mostly gay clientèle. The music in here is hit or miss, sometime it is really, really good.

You know, I thought there was also some kind of ungay club or discotech on the second floor near there. Still don't think there are many FL's up there though, and discos aren't really my scene, but I went along with a couple people there once. More of a singles scene, I guess. Boring to me. But others may like it.
