Which was kind of the implication of my putting the words "end of thread" at the end of my last post. Yes, I understand I cannot unilaterally end a thread. I was simply stating that I understood the thread was obsolete and didn't really want to continue it, but then Dr. Love decides to insult me again! Chill out man! You're starting to sound more like Dr. Hate!
Thanks to all those who have defended me against this somewhat unexpected barrage of criticism and insults.

Gosh Dr. Love, You are right. I didn't take a little time to investigate. I just read the post and moved on. I didn't get worked up about it or feel a need to dump on anyone. In any event, I would think that jumping on the ass of everyone who makes a mistake on the board might not be the best thing for someone in your business. I guess thats just the marketing guy in me coming out. Hope your getting rich.

It's hostile attacks on people that just turns me off and onto other sites.........geeez, we live (the lucky ones) in one of the most tolerant places in the world and still some feel the need to jump on people's sh## for redundant posting or not posting in the proper thread.
Actually, there's not that much activity on this board and I would like to see more. I check it out everyday as part of my "intel gathering" routine and it doesn't take long to read everything new so I don't see the need to be so anal.
Give the Dude (and others) a friggin' break.........END OF THREAD  .....ooops, I guess I'm going to get it for that one.......Chill, Peace.....Go get laid more!

It helps to have 'thick skin' here, it's been said before (a lot people won't post in fear of getting their ass flamed off, as another member metioned it's just an internet site & you shouldn't let a insult get to you, although it's not easy, I gave up on the Z due to one know it all asshole who took the fun out of posting there for me.
I hope one day to get past that hostility, in the mean time the ignore feature is on

Seems like the thread might have continuing relevance as the Senate elections are actually on the weekend of 01-02 Mar.
Papers say no liquor that Sat and Sun night but I think Fri will see it flow.

I'm hearing from the bar owners that they need to close my 18:00 on Saturday and stay closed until Monday, which makes no sense, since I understand the election will take place on Saturday in the daytime
I guess we'll see, and it doesn't matter much to me, I can sit in the back of one of my favorite places and get blown or laid whenever I like
oddly enough, the Jesters rolled up out front last Sunday and the owner wouldn't serve them, too many of them to solicit a quiet drinking session in the back
so I sat in back swilling my beer and getting blown, LOL

And as for some members instantly jumping on anything
they think is not right, that is one of the main reasons, sadly, why a lot of guys don't post here any more.
It's one thing to have discourse, and within the natural order of things, people will not all agree.
So those idiots who, without permision or authorization feel that they are the self-appointed guardians and watch-dogs of this forum, and have the right to be, have only themselves to blame for the dirth of postings.
And those idiots who leap to be abusive in response about anything should learn to grow up and cease to behave like young brats in the playground at school, calling one another names.
They should learn to celebrate diversity and maybe have a little acceptance of other people's opionions and views......that is unless you are being sniffled at by Mel's snozzle, but then again, Mel has a sense of humour and can take it in good grace and in his stride.
Some people can't.
Sometimes people make a remark that seems quite innoccuous but manages to touch a raw nerve.
O.K. So, get over it. Not everyone shares the guys opinion. And not everyone shares yours. Just because we are all ( is this an assumption on my part ?) mongers, doesn't imply that we have anything in common at all. Not everyone jumps to be abusive in response. Some people have a short fuse. Personally I have a long one, butt......
We all are learning, otherwise we're dead already, even Dr.Love.
