Spent a few hours in Bangkok Beat this past week, and it gets packed by 10pm--of course, that was on a Friday night. Played some pool upstairs, while the band played downstairs.
Live music...good crowd...
Fun place to spend a night if you want to take your TG to some place other than a go-go. Or, if you're at the go-gos and you want to take your bar-fined girl to some club for an hour or two after Nana and SC shut down, Bangkok Beat seems like a good place. Plus, it seemed like a good mix of regular girls, and free-lancers.
Check out the newly renovated third floor.

I have to agree, they're all on the game at Bangkok Beat, one way or another, whether they're straight-up hooker or "grey area"...you're absolutely right, no Thai woman sets foot in any bar or club in lower Sukh unless she's ready to give it up for money (in one way or another)...
The only "good girls" you'll find in Bangkok Beat are the female halves of the farang couples you see in there, haha....

I've known some office workers who used to frequent absolut 7 to play pool & they did not go with men for money
their office was almost right across Suk. from there & it was convenient to pop in on the way home
