I don't mean to be difficult BB, but don't you think these posts belong in the "Promotions" threads... ?
I thought this thread was for visitors to post their experiences there. I have always been a fan of Bangkok Beat myself. Good band, nice, sexy waitresses, and lots of mixed talent.
But your promotions are of little interest to me as I am rarely there. I am more interested in hearing what others have to tell me about the music, the atmosphere, and the take-out.

Okay, I have a very Bangkok Beat-relevant question: who was the old bald fart who saw fit to try to pick a fight with me in there the other night?!
I have this feeling that I've seen the bitch around Bangkok for 6-7 years now....it kind of looks like the guy from "Curb Your Enthusiasm," if you can imagine that bitch with a head pounded down more compact and kind of coke-bottle glasses...plus more stocky. ugly motherf***er.
so I'm just dancing as usual at Bangkok Beat, and suddenly this sad-sack farang c*** is trying to pick a fight with me...? WTF? How Gay can you get? What do we come to LOS for? To f*** girls!!! Certainly not to strut our little peckers and assert our "manhood"...??? Jesus motherf***ing Christ!! Nearest I can figure is I inadvertently stepped on the bitch's toe or some shit...but if that was the case, why didn't it back down when I made the universal sign of "cool it bro, it's not worth it..."
I have to say, the bitch was lucky that I happened to be with a girl who didn't really know me, haha, and not one of my usual thunder-thigh, tree-trunk-leg Khmer Buriram "bodyguard" girls...in which case the old fart would now be, at best, minus a few teeth, and at worst, minus a testicle... Seriously.
Anyway, if the the manager/owner of Bangkok Beat is the guy who posts under that name on here, maybe he can shed some light on this, because he (farang guy, longish hair) talked to the bitch for a few moments and then told me to "stay away from him"... What did the bald f*** give as his reason for ATTACKING me? And why wasn't the c*** summarily thrown out of the disco for this totally unprovoked actions (trying to knee me in the balls, etc., gay shit like that) ???

Which night was it ?
Did you talk to JJ the Night Manager (who does have short hair).
The long haired guy you refer to has nothing to see with the management.
We have 2 security staff every night in order to avoid such situation.
Our policy is VERY CLEAR with customers trying to pick up a fight : out for ever !
BANGKOK BEAT is a safe place and we intend to keep it this way, but this kind of thing can happen anywhere.
You did well not picking up the fight and we are sorry for this guy's behaviour.
Please next time you come to BB, ask to see JJ or
Pierre and we will talk about this to keep our place free of provocative people we don't need and we don't want.
