Thermae has really picqued my curiosity, and I've decided to make the pilgrimage and try my luck...and as someone pointed out the dwindling numbers of Japanese might provide such an opportunity.
The whole loss-of-face bullshit annoys me slightly, as being rejected by girls in a country where competition for male customers can be at times fierce is hardly a complement to one's ego.
I shall give it a go though - granted I probably won't land the most dazzling starlet (but I've read several times on this forum that it's best not too - they get worn out young) but given my youth, build, and relative good looks (if I may say so myself) I figure I am in with a chance. Not that I'm prepared to pay that much of a premium however. Sam-sam-sam? More like jed-samsip-neung...
Has anyone been recently?

It was 1,000 B each. Since I told them that I had only 1,000 B on me, I could take only one, while the other waited outside in the living room. In the end, I declined and decided to go elsewhere to play some pool instead.

Joe, I think your point is that generalizing is dangerous in general.  I don't know about dick size, how often they can come or really anything else. I have observed that in general, oops, they tend to be less concerned about cost due to the high costs on the island they inhabit and particularly so when in bars and with pretty girls. I have also been told by a couple girls I know that they like Japanese customers because they pay well. As for hygiene, in a business setting I find that the Japanese have impecable hygiene. However I have noted a few on Thai flights early in the day they didn't get to close to the soap. So, I guess like every nationality they have a variety of types but maybe a majority that creates the sterotype. Or something like that. For me it not the Jack that make my fingers slur, its Glen Livet. Same net result.

but I had the pleasure of meeting with you (BK) and seen you in action with the girls at BG7...you are "hansum man" with a good game for talk with the girls . that's why YOU are THE MASTER I tried that "i only got 1,000bht in my wallet" trick and it didnt work! she just shrugged and walked off! were the bill supposed to be small bills (ie.20,50 and 100bht notes?)
