I am not sure that is true, at least not in its new incarnation. I find Thermae interesting because you can find some real fresh gems there, uni girls or infrequent FLs who you will not see at the Soi 7 Beer Garden. Admittedly, many of the lookers are only looking for Japanese men, but in terms of pricing, these can cost you, or at least ask for, 3k and up.
As for "upscale", I am not sure what that means. Is upscale a girl who is educated and only "slumming" it in the P4P scene temporarily (my definition perhaps), or a girl who knows how to dress in a semi-HiSo manner, while being as hard core a pro as any SC or Nana long-termer?
Or perhaps, as you seem to suggest, it is all about who charges the most, in which case the russians and arabic women would presumably scale the utmost highest ranks... except in my book.
harold, I was mostly reacting to the hijacking of this thread by an endless string of newbie questions that might have been better off in that section. 
Whether lovelife can get one at thermae, or not, is up to him.

In the past few recent visits I have come across some ex-G Club girls. One was from Exotica and another from Piano. Also, most of the girls seem to have a standard ST fee of 2,000 B. There was one really hot one that wouldn't budge from her 2,500 B ST price. I have only come across a couple that didn't mind 1,000 B ST, but they were old and/or chubby.

The girls are not driving the prices up.... WE are.
Supply and demand... if no one buys at 2,000 then the price would come down.
2,000st, wow, not worth it at all, no matter how good looking the lass is.
