I agree with BK. Lots of fun in Cowboy during Songkran.
Do prepared to get quite wet. Foreigners, mostly, wandering down the soi with huge water guns. Great fun to get ICE water and drop it on their heads as they smugly stroll down the soi squirting everyone.
Sure has changed from the polite Thai gently pouring a cup full of water on you.
We'll be there at least one day this April.

my 1st trip in 2000, I bought a huge water rifle
walked out of my hotel with it covered in shopping bags

Wow! Getting wet is very Interesting fun of course. The only problem is to get a change on road. Else, one has to carry hand bag to carry Changes. I will be there surely. Is it everywhere in Bangkok/Thailand ? What about Nana, Soi 33 areas, where I will possibly be roaming around ? Is this water festival continue in night time as well ?

Bimlee, one possible solution is to stay at a hotel around the corner from that place. Yeah, you don't want to be sitting in the air-conditioned taxi to get back to your hotel, well, normally we use the tuktuks for that.

I fly out- was a time I used to enjoy it - guess for a day its ok - but after a few days I turn murderous -
Usually, on return from Singapore or Laos its all over and I am fine again.
Old age you get more shitty I guess ?
I did like the tits on offer though, just too much powder and water - goes too long- especially in Pattaya
Once you've done it a few times and get over 45 it becomes a f***ing hassle

Yup, still my favourite gogo bar. Popped in early (around 10pm) last week and it was packed. With girls, not punters. Luckily the rain and low season have something to do with that.
Unfortunately just as I walk in my favourite girl walks out with a 'date'. But there is just plenty on offer so im not too upset.
I pick a new girl- no 90(nok). She's got a rocking body, nice natural tits and slim legs. And pretty to boot.
Very friendly girl. Ending up taking me out to some local Thai karoake dinner joints and having a blast till we returned to my hotel and proceeded to have a blast there too. This girl likes to drink, eat and be merry.
