Back to the topic. I remember the shit that Almaty got at the front door of LONG GUN. Had to meet him outside and then went in after giving a killer sight to the hello lady.
However, as Griff pointed out, there is some strange feeling against guys from the Indian subcontinent and sad to realise that few bars in Soi Cowboy are flooded with that attitude.
What is also stupid is the policy implemented and really enforced by the hello ladies at the Japanese/Korean joints. "....Sorry na, ONLY JAPANESE OR KOREANS...."
Well, then we can do better by leaving Soi Thaniya and those karaokes at Soi 5 and mainly the ones located in Soi 22 for the walking ATMs....

Discrimination isn't uncommon in Thailand. Take a look at the farang surcharges at massage parlours.......totally unfair.
What puzzles me is that I am of asian decent too (Chinese), and I was literally yanked into Long Gun by the working girls.
Oh well, don't put yourself down on your situation. If they don't want your phat cash that you have in your wallet then it's their loss. Just move on and enjoy the thousands of other bars that Bangkok has to offer. Cheers brother!
