Funnily the racial discrimination seems to be practised by Farangs and not by Thais - correct me if I am wrong BUT I think that most of the bars on Soi Cowboy & at NEP are owned by Farangs .
As Yurune said this one is not, any Farang who knows how to run a bar knows this is not good for buisness.
If he didnt he would probably went down ages ago. 
This sounds like the old Asian status and skintype hangup.

JR - in other words , don't let discrimination bother you . Just smile and patronise places that are not racist - and there are any number of places in Thailand and all over the world .
Arramsey's post is most enlightening. ÝIt seems to me there is NO racism here, since the young lady would be happy to service him with the GUARANTEE of a tip. ÝWhat has her experience taught her? ÝPerhaps the root cause of this discrimination is not with the Thai establishments, but rather with certain cultures that fail to teach proper respect for the ladies? ÝAfter all, doesn't Arramsey's 'classy' response demonstrate that he's really no better?

I have absolutely no problem in you judging that my response was no better than the BG's .
However from my many Threads & posts on this Forum you will realise that I have an extremely high respect for all women and I especially have a very high regard for Thai girls .
Also the issue was not the tip - the issue was that she did not want to service an Indian for the normal tip BUT was ready to forget her prejudices for a VERY LARGE tip .

Mr. RTB...yeh I have been reading this thread and haven't said much with my white face and all. But I sure would not put up with any colour bar or have any of my friends feel that were not treated fairly.
I have been in multiculural relationships for a hell of a long time. I just do not accept power trips against someones colour. None. Zero. Ever.

I think demanding the name of the person who discriminated at Rainbow is absurd. Once the asshole does the "members only" routine, I am not going to stick around to ask the moron his name. If he does not want my money he can go f_ck himself. I, in fact, have gotten the "members only" line from the "security guard" at the main door of Rainbow in NEP - on the ground floor to the right. Obviously, this low-paid doorman is not making the decision himself - it is a policy in which he was clearly instructred. In other words, it is the mangement that is telling him not to let non-whites into the bar. If you, as you claim, have some influence over this, you should talk to the mangement and drive into their pointy little heads the the long term wisdom of not discriminating. In any case, I do not ever wish to go to another go-go bar in NEP. It's their loss - certianly not mine.
