Yes I have paid more then 500 per session. First two trips and then I learned what the expats were paying and found that most BG are more then willing to go for 500 st and 1k lt. I look for the older BG 30++ as I prefer them.
Do I get turned down, sure do but a lot less then you would think. BTW at my price point I don't troll the high priced places. I'll leave those to the two week millionaires. 
I get to come to Thailand 3 to 5 times a year sometimes for 2 weeks others for 4 to 8 weeks. I get to know the girls and they get to know me. They know I don't spend a lot of money on them but when they are with me they know they will have a good time. I don't get drunk and I treat them with respect.
I've stayed with one women for the last 4 trips and I pay her 6k per month. Twice as much as she makes working on a farm near Chaing Mai. I pay for her bus ride and when she gets into town I kick 500 baht into her phone so she can call home and talk to her kids. I was lucky when I met her she had worked bar 1 month and I was her first falong customer and I broke her in right. Two trips ago when I left she stayed with another falong and he was a nut case. Now when she stays with me she compares me with the other guy and I come out on top.

I think I should give a try also to beer Garden at soi 7. I will consider BK's advise to go there early and get someone for a short time, which I never did in past. If the girl is good, will take her for Long time straightway.
Only little worry is, they may not go for regular medical check ups, like marc claims at eden.
BK, a question for you regarding a comparison between MP girl and a beer Garden girl. Do they perform same ?
