Dr Love: Everytime I read you you are telling everyone how such and such places are not good. In fact so far I cant remember reading any good report at all from you...can you please tell us where you go when you want to have a good time? I know you live in LOS since a very long time and speak very good Thai, so it would be nice to learn usefull things from you instead of your never-ending "this place is bad, this is no good, I dont like this...". Please dont take this as a personal attack, I trully mean no harm.

As you've noticed I live here for a very long time.... I know by now what's good and what's bad (in my own opinion).
I think it's very funny that you (who has quite of number of bad experiences reported on BTF) complains about negative reports.
But here's what I like:
Soi 7/1, Rainbow 4 (Nana), Queens Castle (Patpong).
Perhaps the reason why I hardly have good reviews is that there are not really a lot of good places in Bangkok.
But it could be me living here for 25 years.... maybe I am jaded.
Some observations what happened after my negative Soi 1 report:
-HappyTwat (Revolution etc) wants to get out
-MN2 closed
-Bars moving upstairs because they can't afford the rent downstairs.

One of the bars on soi 1 is currently for sale for 150,000 baht. That tells me all I want to know about them being a good business prospect, and about the area having a long-term future.

3 mill for what? he think he's gonna get the key money back or what?
he only paid half that much to start.
MN2 offerd me the bar as to just take over the lease no key money and I didnt take it. But I did take the audio system from there and am currently installing it in my bar.

I never complained about your negative reports and dont want to start one of those stupid "cyber-fight" with you, simply I was curious to learn where someone who know Bangkok since such a long time will go to have a good time.
Thanks for telling us about your places, but it seem we dont have the same taste (hardly a surprise, we dont come from the same country and you are at least old enought to be my dad after all!).
