last January, Pattaya installed a sewerage treatment plant and from what I understand the bay is alot cleaner. From what I've been told, Jomtien Beach about a 10 minute ride south of Pattaya has better beaches and diving.

With the rediscovery that lemons/limes raise the acidic level enough to kill sperm and HIV, I will carry a squeeze container of lemon juice and give a few drops from now on. I had read that saliva had a near affect as saliva is slightly acidic. I also will consider chewing Vit C just before and offer her Vitamin C candy. Can't hurt!

I noted a related article recently. ÝIt mentioned the contraceptivel/anti-HIV benefits of lemon juice on a piece of cotton place in a woman's snapper. Ý"Snapper" was not the language the article used...;) Ý

lol, I have thought about that acid coming in contact with "raw" spots. Don't know about you guys, but after a couple days in LOS, I get a raw area or two. lol Would be able to tell if she had any internal sores, ah?
lol. I did a bit of research also and this is not a real new discovery. Been used in 3rd world nations a long time. I agree that some testing is needed but as my area of expertise is operational testing, I will bet some baht that they will confirm in a more quantitative manner what has been known for a long time. The HIV part is the new aspect.

Fanta, I would not go for a swim at Pattay beach. Fear of ingestion water-borne bacteria and infection of any openings in skin, around eyes, or other muceous membranes would concern me. Give them a couple more years of earnest effort to clean up and then I might consider it.
