Thought I'd bump up this thread
Yesterday I watched the State of Origin at the Down Under Bar, first time back there since Rob passed away.
The new owners took over two weeks ago, friendly Aussie guys and they should do ok.
I also noticed this Soi 7/1 featured in the Hang Over 2 movie,the scene where they run a muck and destroyed the Police car
You can't miss it just about opposite EDEN Club look for the Kangaroo

One thing I needed was to talk to some falangs after two weeks up country, and drink some REAL beer. VB

Thanks for bumping up the DownUnder Bar thread. It was a great night when you were here, pity your blues got thumped by the maroons.
You made up for their lack of form by drinking 20 beers and only chatting to a few lbs from sweethearts.
Max, Fraser and I took over the bar on 22 June. We are honouring Robs manifesto. AFL and NRL take precedence over all other sports. We show both games at the same time, commentary for AFL outside, NRL inside.
The girls are to serve, not ask for lady drinks or ask for bf's. They will leave you alone or chat with you...its up to you.

Good to hear the place is worth a visit and in good hands
I spent my early years in Brisbane- so I have been a Queenslander at heart-
They had too much class for the blues!
I will make this place my venue for sports in Bangkok-
Hope the support here flows in-
(even if your not an aussie its a great location to see the goings on in the imfamous soi 7/1)
Eden club stones throw away (for instance)
So barra you have some ladies doing tricks there too?

that's the beauty of having a nice cold crown larger or a VB at the down under bar, I can't for the life of me drink that singha plus it's got arsenic in it
Chang is rocket fuel and you won't know what they put it that.
Plus ask one the owners both Australian questions on what ever to easy mate, have sent U a pm that's the little flashing mail icon at the right of you main page.
