I will never forget the sight in a go-go bar in Samui. My friend thought he would liven up the place by buying a basket of balls. But when I see a group of ten or 15 men in their team Rugby shirts, carrying their bottles of beer into the bar that they have bought in 7/11 at a cheaper price, molesting the girls, fingering pussies, pulling nipples, kissing them, playing with them by throwing them from one to another, gathering around one girl to feel her up in a group, and leaving, without buying a drink, laughing, without tipping any girl, and smirking as they dip their heads to get out to the next bar, there is no honour in that.

Would they do that in their own country ?
Would each of them, alone and unaccompanied in Cowboy, not being able to hide behind the protective shield of the 'team', indulge is such behaviour ?
There is no integrity or respect in that.
No bravery.
No gentlemanliness.
Only shame and dishonour.
It is pure and utter ignorance of buffoons, who have yet to grow up but who may never do so since they are already men of sorts in their late 20's and early 30's, who will return to their mother's cooking and be cared for before they swagger off to enjoy their next 'little boys' outing.
Any sport that enables men and women to show their best,should be encouraged.
Because of that, at times in my life, I have loved tennis and Rugby Union.
Today, I would not be caught dead in Cowboy with a Rugby shirt on, no matter who is playing that night.

This is really more of a wander through Soi Cowboy on a Saturday night, but since I spent most of the time in Sheba's I'll post it here.
Koolbreeze and I met up with TJ and we went to Cactus Bar. There, "Cactus John", the owner, had "mile high" burgers for 200bt. Pretty tasty, and about 6-7 inches high. I also had a wonderful imported beer that TJ had recommended (I didn't write the name down, but it had a cherry flavor and was #6 down the list of imported beers).
Home made beer nuts and pickles were also available and quite good.
Apparently, Cactus Bar has some special foreign food every Tuesday and Thursday at about 8pm. Saturday at 4pm was a special thing. Considering the quality, this was a pretty good deal.
As far as the go-go bar was concerned, nothing much happening. Then again, we were in about 4:30 and left before 7. Pretty early. OTOH, I didn't see any girls worth a second look. Might be different later at night. Small bar, about the size of Afterskool.
TJ led us to Jungle Jim's. Happy hour until 8pm, so cokes and beer were 80bt (or maybe 70bt). The girls were dressed in kind of cute green sailor outfits. One was really cute and TJ immediately grabbed her - smart move. KB found the only other cute one that I could see and grabbed her. LDs were 90bt.
They had their lineup at 7pm. Maybe 15 girls. The layout of the bar is roughly like Afterskool and the same size, so its really hard to see the girls dancing on the small stage. 3 danced at a time.
KB and I decided to go to Sheba's at about 8pm, on the recommendation of TJ. TJ decided to stay with the cute one at Jungle Jim's. I didn't blame him - she really was cute. Off we went.
Happy hour is until 9pm, so we got 75bt cokes. LDs were 150bt, with the girl getting 50bt. When we arrived, 6 girls were dancing topless on stage. Almost no one at the bar - it was empty, empty, empty. Then again, it was 8pm. Soon afterward the next group of girls, about 9 of them, danced nude. Now I see why TJ recommended this place. Thanks, TJ.
They alternated this way until about 10pm, when the shows began. 3 shows, 10 minutes each. 1st was nude girls being painted by a guy (quite talented), 2nd was your standard lesbian show, and 3rd, which I hadn't seen in Cowboy before, was a fire eater (guy). KB had taken off well before the show to visit Afterskool. I bought drinks for 2 of the servers and enjoyed the shows.
Some salaries - girls dancing with bras on get 8,000/month. Topless 10,000 and nude 12,000. Servers get 3,500. The LD and BF minimums are the same as Suzie Wong's - since they have the same owner. BF the pretty standard 600.
The bar never did fill up more than 1/2 way while I was there, and I left a bit before 11pm. Sheba's was fine and I would go again. Atmosphere, including music, was nice and I enjoyed my server girls.
Met KB at Afterskool and we went to the Old Dutch. There we met thaiaficionado. Good guy, with a 100% legal job in Thailand - which I guess a number of people want. We sat for a while and then KB left to celebrate his birthday with several sleeping pills (Las Vegas talk for girls). Hope you had a good birthday, KB.
TA suggested we go to Baccara. It was hopping - almost completely full at 12 midnight. We got the last 2 seats downstairs right at the stage. Now, every other time I have been to Baccara I have sat upstairs. I won't do that any more. Downstairs is much better, and IMO the girls are much prettier. In fact, the girls I saw at Baccara might have been the best looking I have seen this trip - and I would guess that a number of good looking girls had already been BF'ed for the night.
