Hi LFL,
Well, a blanket statement that all Indian are rude or smelly might not be a right thing to say. Its true that Indians who land up in Bkk are over rawed with the P4P scene and just cannot handle themselves. Most of the visitors from India go in groups of 50+ and are free promtional travellers. Basically extreme cheap charlies. Looking up for everything free.
Well, being an Indian I never had a bad experience as such, rather my colour of skin might have made some difference. Nor did the girl whom I picked up from Soi7 Beer Graden have any complaints when she stayed with me in Pattaya. Well, there are things which are in the mind too.

Prabal, you never know. I might just be there Oct 11. As it looks right now, it's promising.
I have to compare your analogy between the girl's opinions of Indians and the "cheap charlie" indians coming over to something I heard in Australia. I asked a local Aussie what she thought of Americans. She said they were mostly loud and not too smart. Then she quickly told me that I am an exception. LOL! I believe the fact that American Navy frequented her town led her to that belief that a typical american was like that.
But the fact is that is the type of person they are most frequently exposed to, so I can't blame them for making such a generalization.

If I get robbed 10 times and 9 out of that 10 times big, bald Belgians (just to name anyone) have been involved I am gonna avoid encounters with big, bald Belgians.
So for me it's alright, if for whatever reason, someone adapts and enforces his personal business policies.
As for the treatment of certain ethnic minorities from a particular subcontinent: From my experiences - and I have seen it many, many times in Bangkok and Pattaya - they behave that strange, that I am not surprised they aren't welcome in every bar: Groping the ladies, open "private only" doors immediately after entering a bar, hang around the gogos to gaze and stare without buying a drink or milking one drink for about 1 hour or more etc. - they do not represent the desired business clientele. Sure a bar is not a place for the good guys, but at least there is a common understanding of behaviour, mien and attire. If you do not comply, you are denied entry (or getting shunned by the girls etc.).
As mentioned before caucasian people are not allowed to the Japanese only clubs - so should I feel discriminated?
I'm not getting treated the same way as a 2-metre bloke when struggling for a drink in a club or bar - so should I feel discriminated?
Being a falang in Thailand I have to pay twice the price than a local (not Thai price) - so should I feel discriminated?
Everyone gets somehow discriminated for any reason - no need to be hypersensitive. What is the big deal about it?
If you do not like the way you get treated elsewhere - simply stay at home.
All this sounds to me rather weepy and full of self-pity.
Just my opinion.

I think you are getting carried away here. This thread was started to share info with BTF members about bars that discriminate. What you do with that information is up to you. And thanks for stating the obvious in most of your post above.....

Thai's generaly do not go to agogo's because to them p4p is all about going to a lady house do a ST and go back to their regular day/night routine. They don't take prostitutes to dinner then a movie or shopping or disco etc etc like the 'stupid farang'.

If you're all about treating the girls like a human, then why pick them up from a gogo? I'm not saying that 'dating' a P4P girl is inhumane, but it's also not the sort of thing I'd parade around as being based on sensitivity and respect. Know what I mean? IMO, just because you take a girl out on the town doesn't mean you're somehow better than some other punter who heads strait for the ST hotel and then off again. From what I can tell the girls don't see it much differently either. As long as the customer isn't abusive and doesn't try to pull any shit they're cool with whatever he has in mind.
If you really want the girls' admiration, why not join some humanitarian group, bust your ass helping those who are less fortunate than the average P4P girl (believe me, there are many), become very fluent in Thai language and culture and then go find yourself a girl the old fashioned way. Otherwise, you're no better than any other run-of-the-mill punter IMO.
In any case, don't take this as a personal attack; I'm no humanitarian either. I'm just as selfish as anyone else.
