I walked past tonight and the Bush Garden was undergoing some sort of demolition, the entrance to the hotel was shut, and there was a chain across the door of the Thermae. As far as I know, it was all open yesterday.
Is this the end of the second incarnation of the Thermae? No big loss, it was pretty much a Japanese bar at this point anyway.
Nevertheless, with this and the closing of Country Roads a few months back, the strectch of Sukhumvit from soi 7/1 to 21 is now a vast desert, nightlife-wise - and it used to be so lively.
